Within a short call, we can give you a firm, all-in price up front. Most full Chicagoland estate cleanouts run $1,200 to $4,500 depending on the size of the home, volume of belongings, and access. Smaller jobs cost less. The number we quote is the number you pay.

On cleanout day, our up-to-four-person crew works to your direction. You tell us what stays, what goes to family, what gets donated, and what we haul. We bring boxes, dollies, blankets, and floor protection. We protect woodwork, banisters, and tight stairwells. We separate items into "keep," "donate," "haul" piles right in the home so you can do final walks before anything leaves. If family members want to be on a video call as we go room by room, we'll do that too — common for executors managing estates from out of state.

We coordinate with the rest of the people involved in an estate: realtors who need the home cleared before listing, attorneys handling probate, family members in different states, organizers and appraisers who want first look at certain pieces. We can hold off on rooms until heirlooms have been pulled, and we can speed-run the rest when the listing date is locked in. Reusable items go to local Chicagoland donation centers whenever possible — sturdy furniture, clean linens, kitchenware, books, working appliances. Clothing is donated by the bag. Documents, photos, and personal items are set aside for the family to sort, never tossed without permission. Hazardous materials get routed to proper disposal sites. Everything else is taken to licensed disposal facilities.

Because we're Licensed & Insured, we work cleanly with attorneys, executors, condo boards, and HOAs. We can email a Certificate of Insurance for any building or association that requires one before we set foot on the property.
